Biography

- Born in Lebanon,
- Former officer in the Lebanese air force
- Fighter pilot & Flight Instructor
- Deep experience in Graphic & Interior Design.

- He has a penchant for drawing and painting and crafts since childhood.

- At the age of 14, his first artworks were in oil colors. Aided by his teacher while was at the complementary School.
- At the age of 16, he has executed a charcoal drawing, size 5 x 3 m, for Anjar Castle served as a background to the Lebanese Zajal scene, it received a positive impression.

- In 1970, he participated in the first art exhibition.
- In1973, he has engaged with the air force. This engagement did not stop him from pursuing the drawing. He continue painting but at a low rate due to the requirements of the new profession, which was entrusted to him.

- He has consolidated his talent through extensive research and through summer courses he took at the University of the Holy Spirit - Kaslik, and in France during his stay there.

- In 1998, he retired. He is no longer associated with the function of the army. For that, he has consolidated his painting’s talent, and he has learned in plus the decorative art and the interior design.

- In 2002, he began participating in exhibitions of art wherever in Lebanon. His artworks captured the attention of the presence.

- At the beginning of his artistic career he was using oil paints, and then he skipped to the use of acrylic colors to escape the smell of chemicals that are used with oil like as turpentine and other solvents.

- He paints all subjects, but he likes to draw the Lebanese nature, especially the old neighborhoods and the old Lebanese houses, in order to preserve the beautiful old parts of the nature in the hope to awake the nostalgia and the feelings of Lebanese residents and emigrants to keep their love for their native country.

- His experience in art and his technique give her artworks a true depth like when you see the objects in nature in three dimensions.

- He knows how to choose his subjects. His method of painting displays a unique phenomenal technique that captures the eye.

- He has become one of the most admired painters in Lebanon, and he became known as the Artist painter of old Lebanese houses.

- He is a realistic painter; he does not like fantasy, he like to paint all that exists and tangible. His paintings reflect the charm and the beauty of the Lebanese nature.

- From his point of view, the masterpiece is a poem, and its colors harmony is the music for this poem.

- Admirers of old Lebanese architecture are rushing to buy his paintings. They call them: “Serhal houses”.

- Many of his paintings are sold locally & abroad.

- He has participated in several art exhibitions locally and abroad; (more than 50 exhibitions in the last 10 years).

- He has received numerous certificates of appreciation.
