Beauty amidst ugliness

Hoda Zohrob wanders the streets of Beirut tracking aesthetic pleasures, even in the traces left by the violent war that tore through our beloved Lebanon for decades.

Debris, street cracks, rotten walls, old unpainted stairs, bullets-riddled construction, and rain puddles are distressing indeed, but, not when pictured with her simple telephone.

Each picture of the Lebanese artist is nothing more than a beautiful piece of art that sheds a glimmer of optimism in a grieving country.
