“The Transients” was realized during the Art Dubai, 2006.

It is a temporary urban art installation, that relates to the transient Lebanese citizens and
their Diaspora moving around the world. Dubai, itself, is also a transient city.

The Story:

They come to Dubai from places as diverse as their purposes. It is the new city with pavements of gold, the city of opportunity, the city of happenings. They come and go and go and come, each one defined by the texture and colors of the memories he carries with him.

Hundreds take to the water. Tourists in search of amusement or economic refugees, they
ride on the wooden doors, windows and shutters from homes far away.
