"The Dabke Must Go On" Festival that was held on the 4th of September 2016, attracted more than 10000 visitors. Here we are again to encourage the Lebanese to acclaim their dance heritage and we set to organize another Dabke Festival.

The Dabke Must Go On DABKE NATIONAL DAY

Jabalna Association has organized Jabalna Festival since 2006, and Mechwar Maa Meghwar since 2013.

Jabalna Association presents “The Dabke National Day”, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Tourism on the 3rd of September 2017.

The Dabke National Day will include the following:

- At least four professional Lebanese renowned troupes will perform their latest.
- Dabke competition “ أجـمل وصـلة دبـكة بـدقيقـة “ “THE BEST ONE MINUTE FOOTWORK”

This competition is organized to attract all young people.

- 250 small producers from the mountain will participate to expose and sell their house made products. 
- Free visits to the Chouf Cedar Reserve are available.
