Certain holes in the path of life are deep but clear. Rich in mysteries and inner beauty, that enriched my vision for a unique mosaic technique, I implemented on canvas. Various exhibitions around the world made me realize that any irregular, never been used before technique, gave me more strength and self-confidence in my work…. Let along ideas I obtained through socializing and observing articles around my surroundings at all lands I had the privilege of experiencing life at.

Born in Zgharta, Mitchell Kanaan moved to the United States as a teenager before recently returning to settle in Lebanon. He studied in the field of media, theater, and political science, which led him to write for several newspapers and to produce plays and advertisements before rediscovering himself as an artist. Drawing was a self-expression that he grew up with and that shaped the self-taught artist he is today.

His works are a mixture of pointillism as a technique and naïve art in appearance, in addition to his own artistic technique, 3D mosaic, which requires the superposition of several layers of paint to obtain a 3D effect. Mitchell Kanaan has exhibited in the United States, Canada, Kuwait, and Lebanon. His works have been sold in Germany, London, France, and Belgium.
