Biography:
Maria was born in Beirut in the very early stages of Lebanon's civil war, and completed there a most traditional schooling education. Back then, while securing basic life needs was everyone's daily struggle, Maria's interest for Art and Design was secretly building-up to become her passion, her goal.
Instead of following regular university studies, her instinctive attraction for beauty lead her to join a Fashion-Design academy. Hence, she graduated as a fashion designer and launched her privately owned business in the fashion industry, based on the whole sale-clothing of her own creations.
Lebanon's tragic events shopped-off the many favorable signs of what was clearly becoming a success story... Not willing to let go and move away from her field of predilection, Maria carried on with her career within prestigious Interior design corporations. But she never stopped hoping, never stopped dreaming to go back to art and fashion.
She therefore grabbed the opportunity of rather peaceful period in Lebanon, to start all over again with a new endeavor she called "Peace & Love", being her own fashion-shop, better described as a unique meeting-point of elegance, originality and vintage style... but once again human barbary was there to put an end to what was promised to be a rewarding and fulfilling venture.
Maria decided to step-back from business to fully devote herself to Art and nothing but Art. In-line with this new orientation, Maria moved with her family to the city know to be a "Temple of Art": Paris. Over there, Maria was submreged with the unique culture background and overwhelming beauty that only Paris can offer, as she joined Art History courses and painting classes.
Away from all wars, away from all political and external factor, Maria found herself and started developing her talent by painting for her own at first, then for her family and now... for you.
