in 1979. In 1978 the hit film starring John Travolta

its everlasting popularity, proving that teenage
angst and love’s young dream remain time less and
universal themes.
For the first time in Middle East, the Director
David Gilmore brings his original London production,
with the same cast and set up that made Grease voted
N°1 musical of all times.

صيف 840 مسرحية غنائية تاريخية كتبت العام 1986 وقد
مسرحها وكتبها وألفها ولحنها منصور الرحباني منفردًا
بعد رحيل عاصي الرحباني النصف الآخر للأخوين رحباني.
وقد قدمها منصور تحية لعاصي في ذلك الزمان ذكرى لرحيله.
- صيف 840 كانت نقطة تحول جديدة في مسرح منصور
الرحباني وقد جابت كل المناطق اللبنانية يوم كان لبنان
منقسمًا ومنغلقًا على ذاته. وجالت في البلاد العربية
وصولاً إلى أفريقيا الشمالية.
- صيف 840 قصة عامية أنطلياس يوم حلفت كل المذاهب
اللبنانية على مذبح القديس مار إلياس بالتكاتف
والتضامن لدحر المحتل وتحرير لبنان من أي معتد أو محتل.
- صيف 840 تعاد هذه السنة ضمن مهرجانات بيبلوس الدولية
وقد أرادها مروان وغدي وأسامه الرحباني تحية لمنصور.
لهذا الرجل العظيم كعربون وفاء وتقدير وتحية لما قدمه
هذا الإنسان الكبير من عطاآت وفن أصيل وعريق بصمت
لبنان ببصمات مذهبة.
مع غسان صليبا، هبة طوجي، بالإشتراك مع أنطوان كرباج
ونخبة من ألمع الفنانين وفرقة مسرحية كبيرة بإستعادة
جديدة ورؤية إخراجية لمروان الرحباني.
