Biographie:
Wahib
Kayrouz: né à Bécharré en 1941.
Licencié en littérature-Université St.Joseph.
Depuis 1965 il enseigne: la littérature française
et arabe, la philisophie générale, l’histoire des
sciences, et la sociologie. Conservateur du Musée de Gibran
à Bécharré depuis 1971.
Il
a publié:
• Le Monde de Gibran peintre. (Prix Michel Berty, 1983)
• Le Monde de la pensée de Gibran en deux volumes, 1984.Oeuvre
considérée par les professionnels comme ouverture
pour l’étude de la pensée et de l’art de Gibran.
• Dialectique Unificatrice dans la pensée de Gibran (en
français) 1983.
• Les Cèdres: symbole et dimensions dans l’inconscient.1993.
• Gibran dans son Musée en arabe:1994, en anglais:1995,
en français 1996, en allemand 1999.
• Contribution à l’étude du phénomène:
Drogue.(Publications spécialisées)
• Préfaces à des livres de poésie et de parapsychologie.
• Poeme à SAID AKL (2003).
• Voix dans la Cité(2006).

Biography:
Wahib
Kayrouz: was born in bsharri in 1941. He has a licentiate’s
degree in literatute from the Saint Joseph University. Since 1965,
he teaches French and Arabic literature, Arabic and general philosophy
and history of science and sociology. He is the curator of the
Gibran museum in Bsharri, Lebanon, since 1971.
His
published works include:
• The World of Gibran the Painter (Michel Berty Prize,1983)
• Gibran’s intellectual world, in 2 volumes. It is considered
by scholars as an opening in the study of Gibran’s thought and
art.
• The Cedars, Symbol and an Insight in Subconsciousness.
• The Unifying Dialectics in Gibran’s Thought (in French).
• Gibran in his museum, in arabic language, French and germany.
• Cintributions to the study of the phenomenon of drug addiction
(in specialized publications).
• Prefaces to books of poetry and essays in parapsychology.
In
the press:
• The life of Gibran in an age Attempting to change the Age.
• The Awakening of the City in its Aesthetic and Sofist Dimensions.
