Nawaf
Al Bukhari
Nawaf Al Bukhari is a Jordanian Artist living in Amman, Jordan. He was
born in 1961 in Nablus, Palestine.
Had training courses in Jordan, France and the USA in
silk-screen-printing, Arabic calligraphy, pencil drawing, watercolor,
oil and acrylic painting and pottery.
Nawaf started using the computer to produce art in 1994 in addition to
the traditional techniques such as oil and watercolors. In 1998, he
started publishing his art on the Internet on http://fOOnOOn.com
Typical Question of the Spectator: "What does your art mean?"
Typical Answer of Artist Nawaf: "You may understand it, but you'd
rather not, because if you think you did, that wasn't really it!"
From this answer we realize that Nawaf doesn't work to get a definite
meaning. His art works are not intentions he starts with. Rather,
they are results he ends up to. His relationship with his art is not
understanding and logic; it is love!
His art is best described as "Expressions of Innocence, Sarcasm and
Love".
