Biography:
Marie-Claude Kawak, interior designer and
painter was born in 1955 in Zahle, Lebanon.
- A holder of a diploma of higher
education: Interior design and decorative arts, 1982,
from the Lebanese University, National Institute of fine arts.
- Study of floral art: Arabesque - Golden
Damascene work - Ornamentation of furniture and decorative boards.
Her interests naturally tend towards
furnishing interior spaces, walls, ceilings. She is in continuing
professional development with the help of great masters of the craft and
through successive trips to France. She studies and works in Beirut and
in Paris in the domain of decorative arts and ornamentation of furniture
as well as of oriental, western and contemporary boards.
She considers oriental ornamentation,
colors and nature important elements that make up a dream project born
in the land of cedars, honey and incense.
- Production of a number of decorative
bas-relief panels, furniture, paintings as well as projects of interior
designs.
- Contribution in several personal and
collective exhibitions in Lebanon.

- Diplômée d'études supérieures:
Architecture d'intérieur et arts décoratifs, en 1982 à l'université
Libanaise, institut des Beaux-Arts.
- Etude de l'art floral: Arabesque -
Damasquin doré à la feuille - Ornementation des meubles et des panneaux
décoratifs.
Ses intérêts la portent naturellement
vers l'ameublement des espaces intérieurs, murs plafonds, et elle
complète sa formation professionnelle chez les grands maîtres du métier
et en voyageant successivement en France. Elle étudie et travaille à
Beyrouth et à Paris dans le domaine de la décoration, dans l'Art
décoratif et l'ornementation des meubles et des panneaux orientaux,
occidentaux et contemporains.
Elle considère l'ornementation Orientale,
les couleurs, et la nature, comme éléments importants d'un projet de
rêve, qui est né au pays des Cèdres, du Miel et de l'Encens.
- Réalisation de nombreux Panneaux
décoratifs en bas-relief, des meubles, des tableaux, ainsi que des
projets d'architecture intérieure.
- Participation en plusieurs expositions
personnelles ou collectives au Liban.
