In 1968 I started my journey through life at Nazareth. I have studied
computer science and I work as Software Developer, but my heart
is where my art is. I started doing art using the computer in 1994
and in 1996 started exhibiting my work in galleries and museums.
I went to Germany in March 2001,where I now live and work.
My art is a private perspective on life, private pains and disappointments,
society, Death and a philosophical look at life. Death is the source
for creation and the motor of life. Crucifixion a symbol for pain,
pain caused by social, political and religious systems.
I think that
art is another way to communicate, to express my ideas , for me
art should have a message of a sort. This is the way I saw art when
I was a little boy trying to express his Ideas with simple drawings,
and this is the way I see art when working on my digital art or
writing poetry today. Some times I ask myself, if we can reach people
through "reason"! but I think its better to get to people's
hearts through emotions, through ART, and from there we might get
to their reason. Or maybe use extremes in art - and that is what
I usually try - in order to make people think and ponder after their
emotions become tens. Then their analyses might bring with it reasoning.

I dedicate this art work for my father
and for all war victims and refugees in the world.
choked and his eyes were full of tears, and with a trembling voice
he said “I remember it as if it has just happened”, this is the
way he ended the story, the story of a nine years old boy from a
small village called Eilaboun, in Palestine 1948, the story of my
father, when he was a refugee.
It all started
on October 30, 1948, when the Israeli army interred his village
and massacred 14 young men, one of them was his brother, and some
of the others were his cousins, and the villagers were forced to
leave their country to Lebanon. This was only the beginning of what
he went through, a beginning of a long nightmare. In this nightmare
my father witnessed the massacre of about 50 young men, who were
convinced to surrender their weapons, and the minute they did, they
were murdered in cold blood in front of the people of two villages
(their own village, and Eilaboun). A boy of his age was shot while
speaking to him about games, the blood of a woman sitting next to
him splashed on his face, when the solders shot her hand, the fear
My father told
us those stories many times before, but this time it was different.
This time he was very emotional; he made us live his story, he made
us feel what he went through, or at least part of it, for the first
time I felt that it happened to my father and indirectly it happened
